I wrote about upcoming changes for mybb 2.0 in my blog. Due to the complexity of the newer version I am 99% positive that a 1.8 theme would not work on version 2. With that in mind, we will definitely create a version for 2.0 no doubt that works when it becomes available since GameOne is one of the more popular gaming themes for mybb.
